Yep, every GIMP after 2.2.5 can use Photoshop brush files. I have a tutorial that epxialns how to install them in GIMP ( Installing Brushes in my sidebar), or if that doesn't work try a GIMP forum, where someone that is familiar with GIMP (I haven't used it) might be able to explain better than I can how to use PS files in GIMP. :)Good luck!
